The waiter keeps taking orders.
Orders wait on the tablet and go through when the signal is back. The system recognises a repeat, so nothing reaches the kitchen twice. Making the bill needs the connection.
Follow one guest at a shared table from the moment they sit down to the moment their sale shows up in your report. Then see what happens on a bad day.
Every screen in the restaurant works on the same live order. The kitchen, the counter and you see the same thing at the same moment.
Where the money is worked out
Tablets never send prices or totals, only which dishes were ordered. ThreeStone works out every figure itself, so two tablets can never disagree about a bill, and a menu change cannot alter a bill already printed.
The waiter taps a table on the floor plan and seats the guests, one seat at a time or the whole party together.
Dishes, sizes, add-ons and a note for the kitchen. Or the guest orders from the QR code at their seat.
Each dish goes to the station that cooks it: its own screen and its own printer. Nobody carries a slip.
The cook moves the ticket from New to Cooking to Ready. Late tickets change colour and sound an alarm.
The waiter’s tablet says the food is ready at the pass. They serve it and mark it served.
One bill per seat, or one for the table. GST per item, service charge shown, and a bill number that never skips.
Cash with change worked out, card, UPI with its reference, or a mix. Seat 2 can leave while the others keep eating.
Today’s sales, best sellers and the GST report update straight away. Stock goes down for the dishes that sold.
Orders wait on the tablet and go through when the signal is back. The system recognises a repeat, so nothing reaches the kitchen twice. Making the bill needs the connection.
Mark it sold out and it leaves every tablet and the guest QR menu. With recipes set up, it can go sold out by itself when an ingredient runs out. Other branches keep selling it.
A bill is never edited. The wrong one is cancelled with a reason and a new one is issued, linked to the first. Your GST report and your records both show what happened.
Each cashier’s shift has its own count. The difference is worked out from notes and coins, and anything over your limit needs a manager to approve it.
What is proven, and what is not. Everything on this page runs today against our servers. A version that runs on a PC inside the restaurant, so billing carries on through a full internet outage, is built but not yet tested in a real restaurant. We do not sell it yet, and we will say so on the call.
